WOYU: WOMEN OF YARDLEY UNITE – AN EMPOWERING AND CREATIVE WELLBEING PROGRAMME
Our free monthly artistic sessions offer a perfect opportunity to be led by different professional artists and use creativity to develop skills, build confidence and form local networks and friendships.
With thanks to our funders Birmingham City Council and Community Lottery Fund.
FORTNIGHTLY WALKS
We’re super passionate about arts, crafts and all things creative. But we care about mental health and well-being too.
Our regular WOYU+ participants enjoy a fortnightly walk together in Oaklands Recreation Ground. It’s their time to have a relaxed walk and enjoy nature on their doorstep whilst getting to know each other better.
WEEKLY YOGA
As part of our WOYU+ programme our participants have been delightfully enjoying gentle chair based yoga classes for several months with the Emma from Drum n Bounce & Dubstretch Fitness. The sessions, supported by our funders The National Lottery are perfect for beginners or those new to exercise.
